From Feb 2022 all shopping feeds using the 'shipping' attribute must also include the 'shipping country' sub-attribute. If you use 'shipping' in your product feed now is the time to add the 'shipping country', if you don't your ads will be disapproved.
For troubleshooting affected ads you can search the Diagnostics tab in your Merchants Center for Missing sub-attribute [country (sub-attribute of [shipping])]
If you are a WakeupData Connect user, it is a simple job of adding a few rules and/or field conversions to make sure you supply the correct data in your Google Shopping feed.
In other CSS related news, it is now even quicker to become a WakeupData CSS user as Google has made parts of the process digital and made it easier for old CSS providers to accept transfer to a new CSS provider.
The process starts with a request by the new CSS provider to switch the client to their service. An admin then has to Approve or Decline the change in the Merchant Center.
When approved the account switch takes place after a default grace period of 14 days, or quicker if the old CSS provider changes the grace period in the CSS Center.
Quick and easy.
And as you will know, at WakeupData we are all about efficiency.
Stay efficient!
